SATA welcomes you to join our presitgious association. SATA is the only trade association in the United States actively promoting South & Central America. Joining SATA will help you to increase your awareness, sales and more importantly your profits.

Supplier Membership is open to travel companies and organizations that operate to South & Central America, and to companies that provide services to the travel industry. With the exception of Tourist Boards, all other companies must register with and maintain a USA based contact.

MEMBERSHIP DUES
For Airline/Expedition Cruise/Hotel/Tour Operator/Tourist Board
Annual Membership Fee (valid Jan-Dec) - $300

For Media Company
Annual Membership Fee (valid Jan-Dec) - $100

Membership fee is for 1 representative from your company (Primary Representative).

Each additional representative (Secondary Representatives) is $25 each.
(A maximum of 3 additional representatives may be added as Secondary Representatives to your membership application)

INVITATION TO TRADE SHOWS/PRESENTATION PROGRAMS
SATA’s very successful series of nationwide educational dinner programs feature new sales tools, destination and product presentations, door prizes, and networking potential that will open the door to more profits. SATA plans 14 shows a year (2 shows in each of the following months - February, March, May, June, September, October, November). Our tradeshows provide interaction between quality US based travel agents and diversified South & Central American suppliers.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
SATA offers it's members the opportunity to sponsor a maximum of 2 events for any one supplier member a year. By sponsoring an event, the supplier is able to effectively and affordably market their company and product awareness. A sponsor’s presentation would convey strengths and benefits and give the US based travel agents the necessary selling tools to further promote the sponsors product. Sponsoring also allows the agents to ask product questions after each presentation, furthering their education.

NEWSLETTER
Receive SATA’selectronic newsletter (published 6 times a year) which features South & Central America’s latest tourism news, SATA news and event updates, supplier member’s product news and promotions, links to the membership directory, familiarization trips and destination resources to South & Central America. This newsletter is also distributed to SATA’s US based travel agent members. 

CO-OP MARKETING INITIATIVES
SATA members have the opportunity to co-op into marketing initiatives which fosters cost effective member collateral distribution at major trade conferences and shows in the United States where the organization is represented.

DATABASE OF TRAVEL AGENTS PROMOTING SOUTH & CENTRAL AMERICA
Following each event, suppliers who participate in our trade events receive an updated and organized database of registered travel agents. The database is in Microsoft Excel format. This allows the supplier to follow up and enhance their marketing.

This is a comprehensive resource web site with information on SATA and a listing of all supplier members, including links to members’ website.

BROCHURE LISTING
SATA publishes a supplier membership directory each year for distribution to US based travel agents at events. 


EDUCATIONAL FAMILIARIZATION TRIPS
SATA supplier members are the first to receive invitations for their employees to participate on educational familiarization trips, learning first hand about the destination.
